Crestline Development, a synchronized development, construction, and management group of superior multifamily properties, is pleased to announce the opening of Garvin Lofts in Evansville, IN. Garvin Lofts, a housing project for homeless veterans, was developed by Crestline Development in partnership with Echo Housing of Evansville. Development on this project began in May, 2018, and it is scheduled to open in December of 2018. Development was able to repurpose one of Evansville's historical buildings while also construction an addition for all the units.
Garvin Lofts will be part of the Homeless Veterans' Reintegration Program, which is a competitive grant program that focuses on reintegrating the community's heroes by providing meaningful employment within the labor force.
Garvin Lofts will provide housing, counseling, and some medical services on site. The property is conveniently located near the E. Lloyd Expressway and is minutes away from multiple restaurants and other businesses.
Garvin Lofts offers twenty-seven, one-bedroom units that will be fully furnished for veterans that move in. The property provides an on-site laundry room, conference room, and community space. The community space has two consultation rooms, a tv room, a kitchenette, and a clubroom that will have lounge seating, business center, and a shuffleboard table.
The ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled for December 14th, 2018, along with the full opening of the space.
