James M. Wilson


James M. Wilson is the principal of Crestline Communities and its affiliates. Mr. Wilson is the founding principal of Cardinal and Stone Development LLC, a real estate development company, Spinnaker Property Management, a property management company, and Ormsby Rhea LLC, a real estate investment company. Mr. Wilson is frequent consulted on multifamily redevelopment and financing for various clients.

Prior to forming Crestline Communities, Mr. Wilson worked as the development manager for Lennar Affordable Communities in Portland, Ore., where he specialized in the financing & development of multifamily communities, managed public private partnerships, and worked in neighborhood stabilization and enhancement.  During his tenure at Lennar he developed more than $100 million in multifamily properties in seven states. His responsibilities included planning, acquisition, rehabilitation, development and financing of mixed use, multifamily and senior housing projects.

Mr. Wilson started his career in Birmingham, Alabama with Collateral Mortgage Ltd. as a multifamily mortgage banker. While with the bank he underwrote more than $1 billion in commercial real estate loans, opened new markets and managed new securitized products.  Mr. Wilson received his bachelor degree in finance and real estate from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, and his MBA with concentration in real estate, finance and strategy from the J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.  He is a licensed realtor, a CCIM designee, and a NAHB Housing Credit Certified Professional.


Jim Erickson

Vice President of Property Operations

Jim Erickson is the vice president of property operations at Crestline Communities with responsibility for the operations and success of Crestline Property Management and all properties that are currently owned and managed under the Crestline Communities umbrella. This includes daily operations, owner and investor reporting, marketing, training, human resources and business planning.

Additionally, Mr. Erickson lends his expertise to projects under development, facilitating design review to maximize operational efficiencies and durability.  Prior to joining Crestline, Mr. Erickson worked for Great Lakes Capital Fund as an Asset Manager with a portfolio of over 50 properties in Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin and Michigan.  His responsibilities included overseeing all facets of the investment in each property, including monitoring construction costs, timeliness and quality, monitoring initial lease-ups, analyzing budgets and financial statements and monitoring on-going compliance with governmental regulations.

Previous to working with Great Lakes, Mr. Erickson was a Management Supervisor with Metroplex, Inc. in Chicago, Illinois.  He had oversight of a mixed portfolio of over 1,000 residential and commercial units, including properties with project based Section 8, Section 236, Market Rate and various other governmental financed properties.  Mr. Erickson has also worked for Sterling Management as a Regional Property Manager, with a portfolio of 26 properties and over 2,000 units.  His portfolio there included market rate, Section 42 and Rural Development properties.


Christine Kindred


Christine Kindred is the corporate controller for Crestline Communities. As controller Ms. Kindred oversees the accounting staff and is responsible for the financial and investor reporting, audit and banking relationships, and insurance of the property portfolio and corporate entities.

Ms. Kindred insures the reporting and tracking of both operations and construction projects. Christine has 20+ years in accounting with a concentration the last 8 years on Property Management accounting. She has been responsible for monthly and quarterly reporting and assisted with annual audits for companies nationwide. Prior to joining Crestline, Ms. Kindred worked for Lauth Property Group and was responsible for the financials for office, medical and industrial properties in the Lauth portfolio.


Heather Stanley

Area Manager / Compliance Specialist

Heather Stanley is the area manager/compliance specialist at Crestline Communities. Her responsibilities include overseeing daily property operations, compliance audit and reporting, vendor and service provider relationships, and lease-ups.

Ms. Stanley also serves as a market evaluator prior to the development of any Crestline properties and is responsible for overseeing office and public space operational designs for new product.  She has 15+ years in the Property Management field including on-site management, multi-site management, and Section 42 Tax Credit Compliance.  She currently holds two designations, Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) as well as Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP). Prior to joining Crestline, Heather worked for a national apartment management firm for 11 years. During the last 3 years of which, she served as Corporate Trainer of the Section 42 program in 10 states.


Allie Kregers

Real Estate Analyst

Allie Kregers is the newest member of the Crestline team. She serves as the real estate analyst with primary responsibilities for new development and acquisitions. Allie also performs site reviews, financial underwriting, and arranges for tax credit and traditional financing.

Ms. Kregers has a Masters in Urban Planning from Ball State University and an undergraduate degree in Environmental Science.
